4/30/05: Moving Day

Friday was lease-signing day, and the day to pack up for the Saturday move.

We'd gone to a team lunch on Friday to welcome two new employees (Danny Markham formerly of Napster and MP3.com, and Patrick Crowley of Mokolabs and the creator of iCalShare), and upon returning from lunch, we found a FedEx delivery with our copies of Tiger (as if an office move weren't enough distraction!)

Friday was the day the bits went live in the new office space as well.

Sure seems like an awful lot of Apple logos on the boxes we were packing!

You might think the UHAUL van rents for $19.95 a day, but don't be fooled. We only had it for like 4 hours, to drive maybe 20 miles tops, and they charged over $60 -- and we still needed multiple trips and other carloads.

The IKEA GALANT desks arrive.

Some assembly required.

Coincidence you're a mile from mp3.com? :) The coffee shop (wired) down towne centre is awesome, great coffee.
