About those images on the home page...

You've probably noticed there are a bunch of images appearing randomly in the upper-right side of Eventful's home page:

You've probably seen what appear to be multiple displays of the same image among those shown. In fact, they're not duplicates. If you move your mouse cursor over each image and hold it there a sec, your browser should display a little text box identifying what this event is. And each of the 24 images shown each time the page is loaded is in fact pointing to a unique event.

So try 'em out and explore. You just might find something you'd like to go to!

A Note to Event Creators
Lots more people are adding events now, and one thing I recommend to everyone: be sure to include an image with the event. They stand out a lot more in search results, and now they can wind up on the home page as well. To add an image to your event, just add the event as normal, and then once you've submitted it and are viewing the saved event, click the "Upload image" link under "Owner Tools". Then you'll get a little utility to choose an image file from your local computer, and upload it to the system. Takes just a few seconds, so give it a try!
