Columbus venues

In 2010, Columbus was voted as the manliest city in the country. It was also voted the city with the most salad consumed in the country.

Columbu, OH

Manly men on a diet. We can appreciate that. We can also appreciate these great Columbus venues to check out:

1. Nationwide Arena: An indoor multi-purpose facility to take in a Roger Waters concert or a Columbus Blue Jackets NHL game
2. Newport Music Hall: This is "America's Longest Continually Running Rock Club" thanks to a schedule lined with fun performances like Michael Franti and Ingrid Michaelson
3. The LC Pavilion: Nominated for “Best New Major Concert Venue” by Pollstar Magazine in 2001 because only big-name bands such as 311 and Ben Folds get to grace the stage
4. Value City Arena: Situated on the campus of the Ohio State University and is the largest arena in the Big Ten Conference for fans to cheer on the Ohio State Buckeyes or take in a show by the likes of Bob Dylan
5. The Palace Theater: Another massively successful Columbus venue because acts like Styx and Sarah McLachlan and productions like Cats like performing there
6. Columbus Crew Stadium: The first major league stadium built specifically for soccer in the United States and host to the Columbus Crew home soccer games
7. The Ohio Theatre: With classical performances like The Nutcracker and Les Miserables, this is the place for people of all ages to soak up some culture
8. The Alrosa Villa: An in-your-face type venue that's been "rocking Columbus for more than 36 years" with shows like Saving Abel and Mushroomhead
9. Skully's Music Diner: The prestigious winner of three Columbus awards including #1 Best Dance club, #1 Best Pleases to Rocknroll and #1 Best Ladies Night - and still offers such toe-tapping shows as the Spikedrivers and The Secret Handshake with A Cursive Memory
10. Funny Bone Comedy Club and Cafe: The place to exhaust your uproarious laughter due in part to LOL-arious shows like CMAGAZINE FI-NAL-E Wednesday

So go. Take in a rock concert. Or a classical performance. Or a comedy show. And, don't forget your greens.
