If you've been using
Eventful for the last year, chances are you've seen us promote a little movie called
Paranormal Activity. Thanks to our wonderful users, it reached a million Demands and opened nationwide to rave reviews. Almost one year later exactly, Paranormal Activity is back with a sequel.
Paranormal Activity 2 pits a brand new family against creepy unseen spirits. With a bigger budget than the first, you can expect more elaborate scares this time around. Suspenseful movies like this are always more fun in a dark, crowded theatre so be sure to check this one out on the big screen.
It's hard to imagine a movie directed by
Clint Eastwood flying under the radar, but that seems to be the case for
Hereafter. The movie stars
Matt Damon as a person with the ability to communicate with the dead. Over the course of the movie he helps several people deal with their own experiences involving death. Dealing with the supernatural is not really something one would expect from Eastwood, but if anyone knows how to handle the subject of death and loss, it's him. I have yet to find an Eastwood movie I didn't enjoy, so I would say this is definitely a safe bet.
As good a director as Eastwood is, I'm liking Paranormal Activity 2 for the top spot in the box office. It's too close to Halloween and people loved the original. Be sure to log on to Eventful and write a review of the movie you just saw, especially if you're too scared to go to bad after a late showing of PA2.
