Phoenix venues

While the people of Phoenix have 200 golf courses to play in, they have no word for snow.

Phoenix

Okay. That's not true. The truth is that Phoenix is chalk-full of venues that everyone should check out. Here's our top ten:

1. Cricket Wireless Pavilion: A local amphitheatre where all of the hottest names like Rascal Flatts and Jack Johnson play in the hottest weather
2. Dodge Theatre: A 5,500-person-capacity venue that's perfect from all varieties of performers from Jerry Seinfeld to Yo Gabba Gabba to Moscow Ballet
3. Celebrity Theatre: A mid-sized venue that takes the words "There's no bad seat in the house" to heart when it hosts shows like Kenny Loggins and Muay Thai Fights
4. US Airways Center: A lively venue that is home to the Phoenix Suns as well as special events like Cirque de Soleil: Alegria
5. Chase Field: Home to the Arizona Diamondbacks as well as the 2011 MLB All-Star Game
6. The Rhythm Room: A smaller, local live music venue where you can get a closer look at soon-to-be-huge acts like Wayne "The Train" Hancock and the Dusty 45's
7. Orpheum Theatre: A small venue with a big character thanks to highly intricate murals and moldings and an events calendar featuring Lord of the Dance and Mathemagic
8. Tempe Improv: You like to laugh and you like this venue sporting such talents as Flip Orley and Michael Ian Black on their roster
9. Phoenix Convention Center: The prime location to learn about any trade or craft due to massive events like the 6th Annual Arizona Home & Garden Show and the Western Regional Dental Convention
10. Mesa Arts Center - Downtown Mesa: A seven acre campus with music venues for Sufjan Stevens and Clay Aiken to occupy

There's our list. Go and be well. Or leave a comment with other venues worthy of our Top list.

Did we mention that Phoenix is hot?
