Which is probably why there are so many fantastic music venues to choose from. Here's our top ten list:

1. The Pageant: A fancy movie palaces / vaudeville theaters that have been turned into a music venue that's considered to be one of the best in the nation thanks to shows by Lifehouse and Iron and Wine
2. Fabulous Fox Theatre: A venue offering a "dazzling array of talent and entertainment twelve months a year" including concerts by greats like John Mellencamp and special events like A Christmas Carol productions
3. Scottrade Center: One of the area’s leading venues for sports and entertainment as home to the St Louis Blues hockey club and massively popular shows like Usher's OMG tour
4. City Museum: Housed in the 600,000 square-foot former International Shoe Company, this is where the imagination runs wild thanks to events like the incredibly popular everydaycircus
5. The Duck Room at Blueberry Hill: A secret and hidden basement venue where some huge acts like Donavon Frankenreiter and Tea Leaf Green play when they're in the mood for an intimate audience
6. Busch Stadium: Home to the St Louis Cardinals - who coincidentally won the World Series in their first season in the new stadium
7. Cicero's: A local favorite because of the delicious pizza, their over 200 available beers and really great live shows by the likes of Luster and Mark Sweeney
8. Off Broadway: A venue that consistently features musical acts of both local and national fame like Band Of Heathens and Ben Kweller
9. Creepy Crawl: Located in beautiful Grand Center in midtown St. Louis and specializing in all types of contemporary, alternative and underground music such as Cavashawn and Maelstrom

End scene. But, we'll be happy to start a new scene if you know of venues that we missed. Let us know your favorites!
