Nearly 600 high schools across the nation competed to win the Red Carpet Premiere of
Go For It! and Roberto Clemente Community Academy High School in Chicago came out on top. The
competition, hosted by Eventful and Pantelion Films, empowered students to bring the cast and premiere of the film to their school.
The film is a Hip Hop dance drama that follows Carmen, a young woman living in Chicago, who struggles to overcome her fears and follow her dream to be a dancer.
The event was a huge success, with attendance by Director Carmen Marron and cast members including Aimee Garcia and Gina Rodriguez to mention a few!
