He has worked in IT as a Chief Information Officer of a South East Asian Regional Bank, RHB. He lead the team that deployed RHB’s Internet bank stock brokerage and STP system. He has experience working with clients in various industries including telecommunication, engineering, aerospace, education and property development around Asia, Europe and North America. He also developed the first neural network for property valuations in 2004, amongst many other technical and business highlights. He has been involved in the Blockchain world in advising a local crypto-exchange, setting up pool mining services and public training sessions on The Blockchain Train series and currently the advising committee to implement blockchain for a newly established government. Speaking Title: A Nation on Blockchain Rodney Koh (Legal Blockchain Advisory, Investment Banker, Mentor) Rodney began his career with the Perth Office of Clayton Utz, one of Australia’s largest law firms. In his two years at the firm, he worked in civil litigation on several notable cases, including a high-profile defamation case, and in banking and finance on an US$500 million Eurocurrency paper float for the government of Western Australia, the privatisation of the R&I Bank and many other finance related cases. In August of 2009 and began his own practice under the name of Rodney Koh & Associates where he was the principal of the firm. The firm then became Rodney Koh & Partners, which is now part of Azri, Lee Swee Seng & Co. Rodney specialises in mergers & acquisitions, joint-ventures, IPOs, due diligence and technology contracts.
