      Yuma's Native Plants

Have you ever seen small plants and flowers growing after the rain in Yuma? Did you know some of those are native plants? Native plants are resilient and drought tolerant, their seeds remain dormant for long periods waiting for the rain so they can start a new cycle of life. These plants sustain local wildlife such as bees, butterflies, and birds. Join Yuma Desert Gardener columnist, Karen Bowen, and learn more about how to develop a native plant garden in your home, school or community. This presentation in for all ages. There is no charge to attend.
