      Oregon Jest Fest 2020

Oregon Jest Fest is an annual festival of the funniest 10-minute plays by Oregon writers. Jest Fest offers theatre lovers in the Rogue Valley the chance to see the work of eight playwrights and four directors starring many favorite local actors in a single evening or afternoon. The festival will showcase the following eight plays selected for its inaugural production: The Coffee Connection by Dori Appel (Ashland); Fictionistas by Mark Saunders (Medford); Hero Worship by Dorothy Velasco (Portland); How Nice of You to Ask by Rich Rubin (Portland); Losing It by Diane Nichols (Ashland); Power Play by Cynthia Rogan (Medford); SOAP by Phil Loveless (Ashland); and Tripping Out by Darlene Ensor (Medford). Our four directors are Cat Gould, Kyndra Laughery, Kate Sullivan, and Kenneth Benton. Produced by Cynthia Rogan, Diane Nichols, and Mark Saunders. All performances will take place at the Bellview Grange, 1050 Tolman Creek Rd, in Ashland. Evening performances will start at 7:30 pm on January 24, 25, 31 and February 1; Sunday matinee performances begin at 2:00 pm on January 26 and February 2.
