Tree of Living and Dying: A Gathering for Sacred Story 2019

This healing ceremony is dedicated to honoring love, loss, grief, life, and death by sharing stories of Ancestors. We define Ancestors as anyone we have loved who is no longer living, whether they are of ones blood-lines or spirit-lines. We also define them to include the earth, its flora, fauna, and cosmos, from which humans emerged. We will build an altar upon which you may place the names, photos, or mememtos of Ancestors. All our stories will be woven into a collective ceremony of embodied story. Community witnessing is a healing balm, leading us toward a deepened acceptance of death as part of life.. Loss, grief, wonder, questioning, or all-out confusion are welcome entry points for joining the ceremony.  FAQs What should I bring into the event? Please bring any tokens, totems, photos or objects which symbolize the deaths you have experienced and/or are currently mourning. These can be representative of people who have died or of other forms of death such as identity, environmental, cultural, or any internal/metaphorical deaths. How can I contact the organizer with any questions? You may email Spirit of Resh Foundation from our website: www.reshfoundation.org You may also call Spirit of Resh Director, Lily Myers Kaplan at her cell: 510.390.1098. What's the refund policy? Your $15 ticket is not refundable, but it is transferable. Please let us know if you are passing your ticket to someone else, with their contact information. Thank you.
