      2019 Uniform Data System (UDS) Training

      UDS Annual Training The most comprehensive UDS training is this in-person training. It is a full-day program designed for people of all levels of prior UDS experience and covers all aspects of the 2019 UDS Report. The training addresses each of the report’s tables and provides an implementation-based explanation of how to successfully complete the UDS Report and how to avoid and resolve potential reporting issues. In addition to receiving UDS reporting instructions, attendees will understand the value of the UDS for health center operations and to the health center program and receive tips to help facilitate a successful submission. Effective reporting of a complete and accurate UDS report is predicated upon an understanding of the inter-relatedness of the data elements and tables. Thus, the face-to-face training is a great way for new staff to improve their understanding of their role in the UDS reporting effort. As the in-person training is designed as an all-levels program, all financial, clinical, and administrative staff are welcome to attend in order to hone their reporting skills and share their experience with their peers. Review and Submission Process Deadlines and Dates Health Center Program grantees, look-alikes, and certain health centers funded under the HRSA’s Bureau of Health Workforce (BHW) are all required to submit their UDS Report by February 15, 2020. After submission, clinics will then work with their UDS reviewer (Ellen Radis, M.M.H.S., Senior Program Manager at Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) and who is also this year’s trainer) to correct identified data errors and/or explain apparent anomalies, so that the UDS reports may be finalized by March 31st.  Fee: $100 – breakfast and lunch included Target Audience: CEO, CFO, Operations, Billing Staff FAQs What's the refund policy? Cancellation: There is a standard cancellation fee of $25.00. Refund: If registration is cancelled twenty-eight (28) days prior to the starting day of an event, a refund of the registration amount – less the cancellation fee of $25.00 – will be issued. If a registration is cancelled within seven (7) days prior to the starting day of the event, a refund of 50% of the registration cost will be issued. MPCA will not issue refunds for cancellations with less than seven (7) day's notice or for “no-show’s”, when an individual is registered and does not attend the event. If you have registered but not paid for an event and you cancel prior to 28 days or are a "no-show", you will receive an invoice for the corresponding registration fee.
