      Eating Seasonally CF269

There are so many ways to capture and capitalize on the flavors of early fall. Instructor Karen Stanley will bring locally grown produce and will teach you how to make the most of these fresh, seasonal ingredients. Here are some ideas of what we’ll be making: carrot and parsnip fries, apple cider-braised swiss chard with red onion, and light and fluffy squash casserole that tastes like pumpkin pie. Since the menu is based on availability, there may be some minor changes. Please bring an $8 food fee along with an apron, cutting board, knife, and containers to bring home leftovers. This class meets at Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church, 918 Front Street, Binghamton.

Cost: Payment required - The cost for this class is $49. Please call 607-778-5012 to register.
