Marsh Creek Cleanup Saturday, September 21st  9 a.m. to Noon RAIN OR SHINE   Join hundreds of your friends, neighbors and classmates as we cleanup Marsh Creek on California Coastal Cleanup Day. Last year over 200 volunteers removed nearly 4 tons of trash from 20 miles of creek and Delta Waterways in just a few hours.  Help make a difference!   Help make it a GREENER Event: This year we are making an effort to decrease the amount of plastic bags we use in order to be more green! Bring a bucket or something to gather trash in that is reusable or recyclable!  Sites: There are 6 sites planned for being cleaned up this year. (NOTE-The Sand Creek Basin Site in Antioch has been removed)   CLICK HERE to view them all on one map. Brentwood Homecoming Park  (WE NEED MORE PEOPLE AT THIS SITE!) Brentwood Dainty Road/ Central Brentwood Creekside Park Brentwood Ron Nunn/ Apple Hill Oakley Creekside Park Oakley Cypress Road   Check List: Bring your signed waiver- this helps make things go faster! The waiver can be downloaded here. Wear sun protection, closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather. Bring work gloves and a bucket or reuseable/recyclable container to collect trash in.     FAQs   Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. All participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by their parent or guardian to participate. You can download the waiver here.   What can I bring into the event? Please bring a reusable water bottle, work gloves, and a bucket.    Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, you do not need to bring a printed ticket. Each site will have a check in table, with a list of people who have registered at that site.
