      Dr. Elizabeth Ford, a native of Charleston who earned her PhD at Glasgow University, has lived in Scotland for four years before recently returning to Charleston. She has published several research papers and has recently submitted a piece on Kanawha Valley Pipes and Drums to the magazine "Piping Today." Dr. Ford will be speaking about the life and journey of Margaret Fay Shaw and the significance of her work to the preservation of Gaelic song.
