      Community Resilience Model Training

We’re familiar with the harms that trauma and stress can bring to individuals, families, and communities. But what about resilience? Resilience is our capacity to “get back on our feet”—using our God-given strengths to live fully and thrive after stressful and traumatic events. When Christian communities know how to support resilience, we are better able to respond to the Holy Spirit’s call to minister in difficult times. The Diocese of Central New York is sponsoring a free training in the Community Resilience Model with certified coach Sue Mann. This skills-based workshop will familiarize you with basic concepts, skills, and practices you can use to promote resilience and healing in yourself, your family, and your community, All adults and mature teens in communities of the Episcopal Diocese of Central New York are encouraged to attend this free event. Please register by Friday, June 14th—space is limited.
