BottleRock Napa Valley was first held as a 5-day music festival at the Napa Valley Expo in 2013. The event featured 3 stages with 60 bands, including Jackson Browne, The Black Crowes, Primus, Jane's Addiction, The Flaming Lips, and Alabama Shakes. It was the Napa Valley's first large-scale music festival and featured 40 of the local area's most renowned wineries.

BottleRock has grown by leaps and bounds since its first year. Superb wines from around the world are offered from on-site wine experts and sommeliers. With a great selection of wine comes a selection of gourmet cuisines offered by the finest chefs in the region, and the Culinary Stage pairs these chefs with performing musicians. The BottleRock Spa allows festival-goers to unwind and refresh after a long day of rocking out, and cutting edge art provides the perfect eye candy for the top notch musical performances. Notable musicians who have headlined the festival include Imagine Dragons, Stevie Wonder, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Bruno Mars, The Cure, Maroon 5, Robert Plant, Florence + The Machine, and many others.

Surrounded by the dazzling natural beauty of the California wine region, BottleRock has become an upscale affair that attracts both renowned musicians and those on the fringe of popularity. It's no wonder that this festival quickly became a major entertainment contender in just a few years, and why it's sure to continue as a favorite destination for music lovers all over the country.
