      SC ACHE is hosting our next Lunch & Learn in Florence, SC!   The Lunch & Learn will be held on Thursday, July 25th from 11:30 – 1:00 PM at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center. Chris Pelic, Associate Dean for GME Outreach at MUSC, will be leading a discussion over lunch on Telehealth Overview –Then & Now. This event is eligible for continuing education credits.   Attendees will need to RSVP on Eventbrite using this link no later than July 22nd in order to have a lunch provided at this event. You may still RSVP after this date, however, we will be unable to guarantee lunch for you. When registering for this event, you will not have to select a lunch as it will be a buffet. If you wish to bring a guest to the event, please be sure to share the Eventbrite link to the event so that everyone is registered and will have a lunch provided. These events are open to the public, so feel free to share the link within your organizations and on social media. *There is a $5 registration fee associated with the lunch and learn events. Pelic, M.D. is an Associate Dean for GME and Outreach and Telehealth GME Director for the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).  Dr. Pelic has over 15 years of experience in medical education. He assists with the overall physician residency programs for MUSC and with affiliation and GME outreach efforts.  Previously he served as the Clinical Director of Medical Education for all VA hospitals with a special emphasis on Graduate Medical Education (GME), and the Veterans Access, Choice, and Accountability (VACAA) initiative.  He has served as an Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Career Planning for 7 years and psychiatry clerkship director for medical students.  His clinical work has consisted of inpatient and consultation work, and he is board certified in both general adult psychiatry and consultation liaison psychiatry. His work with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in Veterans has gained national attention.  Dr. Pelic is a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at MUSC.
