      Bridges Out of Poverty Workshop

      Fremont Area Community Foundation invites you to join us on October 16 to explore Bridges Out of Poverty. The free workshop will provide professionals and the community with insight into the dynamics of poverty and share strategies and approaches to prevent, reduce, and alleviate it. During the session, participants will analyze poverty through the lens of economic class and learn proven concepts, strategies, and approaches. The workshop is designed for employers, community organizations, law enforcement, counselors, health care professionals, social service providers, educators, and other concerned community members. All participants will receive a copy of the book Bridges Out of Poverty: Strategies for Professionals and Communities by Ruby Payne, Phillip DeVol, and Terie Dreussi Smith. Join us on October 16 at the Dogwood Center in Fremont from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The workshop is free and includes lunch, but you must reserve your place in advance. Have questions?
