      HHLT Young Friends Fall Fest 2019

      Jocelyn Apicello, Nate Berner, Emmanuel Boursin, Julia Foster, Phoebe Geer, Jieh Greeney, Antonia Abraham Pitney, Thad Pitney and Clare Redden invite you to the 7th Annual HHLT Young Friends FALL FEST With the presentation of the Timothy Osborn RobertsYoung Friends Conservation Award for leadership in conservationto local climate activist Krystal Ford Join us for a day of FAMILY-FRIENDLY FALL FUN at Winter Hill, nestled in the heart of the Hudson Highlands, all in support of the Hudson Highlands Land Trust's mission to preserve and protect this beautiful region. Enjoy delicious seasonal snacks and drinks, plus an array of outdoor activities for all ages: Hike to the historic Revolutionary War Redoubt with stunning views of the Hudson River and West Point Press fresh apple cider to take home using an antique cider press Get your hands dirty in nature workshops for kids New this year, we'll lead a tutorial on Seek by iNaturalist, a kid-friendly mobile app that helps identify the wildlife and plants all around you. The event will also include the presentation of the Timothy Osborn Roberts Young Friends Conservation Award to a young leader whose work has contributed to environmental conservation in the Hudson Highlands. Tickets are $25 for local residents that live within HHLT's mission area and $40 for all other guests. Advance registration is encouraged, but tickets will also be available at the door. Children under 12 are free! If you’re unable to join us, you can still support HHLT by making an online donation. Even a small amount will go a long way toward preserving the Hudson Highlands for future generations. All ticket purchases and donations are fully-tax deductible. All event proceeds will be matched in honor of Timothy Roberts and will support HHLT's conservation, advocacy and outreach programming.
