"AN ESTHER EXPERIENCE" ... a women's day of elegance Struggling to overcome feelings of loneliness and fear was a familiar kind of anguish for a Jewish teen named Esther. Because her parents were casualties of war, she was raised by her cousin Mordecai. After being abducted from her home, Esther became the queen of Persia. Although she was chosen to be the most powerful woman in the kingdom, she had merely become the toy of a pagan king--a slave to satisfy his every desire. Esther's plight strategically placed her in a position of influence which would save her and her people from a vicious scheme of annihilation. Where is God when we are faced with fear, death of a loved one, or tragedy? How can we get sensible solutions to trauma and pain? What can today's woman learn from "the Esther experience"? There are specific guideposts outlined in the word of God to bring each of us to a place of victory.
