      Have you ever thought about the cost, efficiency, and environmental impacts of energy use in your home? The newly-formed Johnson Clean Energy District (JCED) is seeking input on the energy upgrades of greatest interest to homeowners and on the hurdles they face in moving forward. This information will be used to jump-start efforts to increase energy efficiency in homes in our county.  Two one-hour focus groups will be held in September and October to collect this information. We would like to hear from a cross-section of Iowa City homeowners and would appreciate the opportunity to talk to you about participating in one of these groups.  Doors open at 5:45 pm with light snacks provided FOCUS GROUP 1 on SEPTEMBER 25, 2019   Share your experiences with home energy efficiency. What worked, or not? What else would you like to do? What are the benefits and barriers?   FOCUS GROUP 2 on OCTOBER 17, 2019.  6pm to 7pm. After 6pm metered parking is free. The first hour of parking in the Linn/Burlington St. ramp is free.Due to construction, bike racks are on the east side of Linn St. Bus route info. at: https://bongo.org/routes/iowa-city/.  Electric Vehicle Charging availabe on lower level, east side of Chauncy Swan ramp.    Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No.   Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Yes.
