      Birds-N-Bagels: Owls and Nocturnal Birds

      RECOMMENDED FOR AGES 11 AND UP

       

      Ijams Birds-N-Bagels is designed for beginning birders to gain identification skills, learn about the complex life of birds, and enjoy fresh local bagels and coffee. This month we are diving into the world of nocturnal birds. We will cover Nightjars, migrating birds, and of course Owls! Participants are then invited back at 6 p.m. for an optional night hike, where we will use what we learned to search for our nocturnal birds. Come learn about some of our most elusive birds!LOCATION 

      The morning class meets in the Multipurpose Room at the Ijams Visitor Center. The Night Hike meets on the plaza at the Ijams Visitor Center.REGISTRATION 

      The fee for this program is $15 per person. EVERYONE MUST HAVE A TICKET. Registration ends on Thursday, December 19th at 5 p.m. If you have any questions please contact Jeremy Clothier at jclothier@ijams.org or call (865) 577-4717 ext. 127. REGISTER HERE.REFUND POLICY 

      Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to severe weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees under $5 for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
