''Come Take a Walk in My Shoes'' CCC Scavenger Hunt

The CCC Self-guided Scavenger Hunt leads guest through three separate historical adventures of Hungry Mother State Park's Civilian Conservation Corps history. Investigate clues about a variety of CCC historical areas still remaining throughout the park, and see if you can find these hidden gems. Once you find them, learn about some of the amazing history each area contains relative to the CCC and the park's beginning. Each adventure can be enjoyed individually, or explore all three during your stay. Three guides will be available at the Discovery Center. Each guide is based on different cultural points of view: "An Old Timer once told me", "A Dollar-a-Day Man once told me", and "A Ranger once told me". Use the booklets to find three clues about each location. Each booklet contains seven separate locations, totaling 21 different historical sites related to the CCC and the park's beginning. Guides contain visual, historical, and cultural clues, along with approximate walking distances and direction to each site based on four primary starting points at the park. **Location Detail: Discovery Center
