Building Your Soil for Fall Plantings

Are you interested in starting a fall garden and wonder how to prepare your soil for a bountiful harvest? Are you a long time gardener who wants to put life back into your soil after years of gardening? Or have you heard about the wonderful benefits that soil and compost have for the environment? This workshop will teach you how to build healthy soil and incorporate compost into your garden. UCCE San Bernardino County Master Gardeners will share guidelines and connect you with resources as you begin your soil building journey in time for the fall planting season. UCCE San Bernardino County Master Gardeners are volunteers that share research-based information to the public. Their volunteers teach the public how to grow food, garden, and landscape sustainably, in addition to the many benefits gardening has on one's physical and mental health. Master Gardeners throughout the county teach workshops at community gardens, libraries, community centers, schools, and more.
