      This course is catered to all levels of experience, and we are limiting this to 6 attendees to allow one on one instruction time for each student. The course will cover proper casting techniques for all situations, fly tying philosophy and techniques, equipment set up, most common knots used, and will end with actual casting on our pond! Cost for this event is $180/person, and will include: Manual, nippers, hemos, 6 flies to take with you( and a small fly box to put them in), video analysis of your casting, lunch at Hollerhorn, and a mid-day cocktail crash course with Karl Neubauer(owner/head distiller). The course is 4 hours long. 10am-2pm.  Shahab Farzanegan has worked in the field of aquatic and angling education for the last 20 years and until recently was Statewide Aquatic and Angling Education Coordinator for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. He has also served as the Director of the Community Fly Fisher in Ithaca NY and Coordinator of the National 4-H Sportfishing Programs. Shahab has written many fly fishing educational resources, served as the instructor of fly fishing at Cornell University. Shahab currently lives in Glenora on Seneca Lake and is a certified New York State fishing guide and founder of the Glenora School of Fly Fishing
