Mahabhuta Yoga Festival 2019: Year of the Earth Pig

Namaste You are receiving this invitation to participate and celebrate at the 8th annual Mahabhuta Yoga Festival: Year of the Earth Pig happening November 8th, 2019 - November 11th, 2019. Yes, the festival is happening on Veteran's Day Weekend with the holiday on November 11th, 2019 during Pensacola's local Foo Foo Fest. This year, we honor the Earth Pig. Buddha invited all of the animals in the world to join him for the New Year celebration, but only 12 animals turned up. Buddha decided to honor each of the animals who showed up by naming a year after each one of them, in the order that each animal arrived to celebrate with Buddha. The last guest was the Pig, so this year completes the full rotation of the 12 zodiac signs.  “2019 is the year of the Earth Pig, the fortunate golden Pig, a time to make peace and enjoy life. Pig is a year for harmony and fellowship when kind actions are rewarded. People can work together with good will and enjoy community. Under the influence of the Earth Pig, we can find some peace, happiness, and contentment in life. Artistic endeavors are successful, including all things foodie and gourmet. There’s more emphasis on the earthly pleasures of sex, the beauty of nature, fine food, and beautiful things. If you’ve been stressed out, this Earth Pig year is good to take a vacation, relax, and not work so hard. After serious Dog year 2018, Pig loves a party! It’s time for celebration, and appreciation for the fine things in life, especially good food. Ease and enjoyment are valued more than power and status. Power and status make their comeback in Metal Rat year 2020." ~ Susan Levitt, astrologer The 2019 Yoga Presenters will be: Sean Johnson Stacey Vann Moksha Summer Jemal Wade Hines Laura Tyree Moira Anderson Michael DeMaria Carrie Branovan Nancy LaNasa Pamela Hunter Vani Kimbrell Christa Sonnier Willow Connolly Megan Eastburn Sudevi Kramer TQ Sims Rebecca Sathre Mariah McKay Jasmine Miller Robert Lenfestey Paradiso Rasamayi Andrea McMillian Mariah McKay Katie French Melissa Banks The 2019 musical guests will be: Sean Johnson & WLB HuDost Paradiso & Rasamayi Michael DeMaria Brooks Hubbert Flavia & Gershone Amy & John Jinks Brynne Heatley The Genesis Party Gong Bath We are so grateful for your support by attending the 8th annual Mahabhuta Yoga Festival.
