      QuickBooks for Beginners: a 2-part seminar

      Please note: This course takes place over two weeks. We will meet from 5:15pm - 7:15pm on September 26 and October 3, 2019. Please do not register for this seminar series if you can not attend both dates.  Quick Books is the leading financial software for small business owners, and this two-part workshop is for those who are new to Quick Books. In the two classes, you will learn to navigate through the Quick Books dashboard, to understand chart of accounts and the items list which is used in creating invoices, applying customer payments, entering vendor bills, paying vendor bills, and how that corresponds to what you see on your bank statement.  This is an experiential class and attendees will need to bring a laptop to use and access the internet. ►        Navigating in Quick Books ►        Edit Your Chart of Accounts ►        Add Product Information ►        Add Customers & Vendors into QB                         ►        How to Create an Invoice                         ►        Receive Payments in QB                         ►        Create a Sales Receipt in QB                         ►        Managing Expenses                         ►        Print Checks There will be an overview of accepting customer credit card payments, reconciling accounts, and what are QB Apps. MEET THE PRESENTER: Lorrie Cook is a Quick Books advisor, business strategist and accountant currently working at Equity Tax and  Business Services of NH in Belmont, NH.  She has over 30 years of experience with Quick Books and she's helped over a hundred business owners and their employees learn how Quick Books can help them manage the financial success of their business.   FAQs What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? You will need to bring a laptop for full participation in the seminar.  If you do not own a laptop, please contact the program manager - the presenter has a few laptops available for use.  Feel free to bring snacks and water if you like.
