Working with Potential: a 2-part exploration of inclusive work cultures

When partnering with different people, it can be challenging to figure out the best ways to work. Trust is important and should be nurtured in working relationships. In this session, we will investigate various ways of “getting to know” our co-workers, partners, and employees. Using techniques from applied theatre (community building through the arts) and various other methods for the world of psychology and beyond, we will explore different ways to create a business culture that is inclusive and person-focused. This seminar will take place on two consecutive Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7pm each evening.  Week #2 will build off the principles discussed in week #1.  No previous theater experience is required for participation. ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Fran Page, MFA, CTT+, CPC, SLE Well, that’s a lot of acronyms! Fran is a graduate of Plymouth State with a BA in Theatre Arts and many credit hours in education and received his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) In Interdisciplinary Arts (focus on Applied Theatre/Theatre for Social Change) from Goddard College. For over a decade, in addition to his creative and scholarly work, he has been in the corporate HR Learning and Development field. He has had numerous roles in this space: classroom trainer/facilitator, instructional designer, eLearning design, User Experience Manager, and Learning Infrastructure (technology-focused) designer. He has earned certifications in the field that broaden his skills and experience. These include: Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+), Certified Performance Consultant (CPC), and Synchronous Learning Expert (SLE). Currently, he is working on certifications to coach people on The Birkman and Hogan personality assessments. All of this to say, he’s curious about people, how they tick, and how they learn. Fran is passionate about creating safe learning spaces where people can learn at their own pace and reach personal and professional learning goals.
