      Ethics for Behavioral Health Professionals

      his 6 hour Ethics class is povided by Adapt, a NAADAC Approved Education Provider. The class is appropriate for substance use disorder treatment and mental health professionals and is aimed to meet requirements for MHACBO, the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers and some other licensing bodies in Oregon.  Course will cover 1) Ethics overview, 2) Confidentiality, 3) Boundaries in Small Communities, 4) Social Media, 5) Scope of Practice, 6) Professionalism and 7) Documentation.  Course will run from 8:30-3:30 with a 1 hour lunch break (on your own). Snacks, coffee and water will be provided.  Adapt employees may register for the free training slots. Non-employees, please register for the paid community slots.  About the presenter:  Lisa Hubbard LCSW has been Adapt's Clinical Director of Substance Use Disorder treatment services since 2014 and has provided hundreds of trainings to staff and community groups during this time span. In addition to her work at Adapt, Lisa has 20+ years' experience in community mental health / addictions treatment, school social work, and private practice settings.
