      Too often rushing or procrastinating?  Wanting to learn strategies to reduce stress and feel more calm and confident?  Mindfulness can help. This Mindful Works Daylong Retreat, for beginners and people wanting to refresh or deepen their mindfulness practice, is an opportunity for you to step out of the busy-ness of life, relax, reboot and regain perspective. You will enjoy six hours of mostly silent, guided practice and instruction. There will be opportunities to: let go of worrying, rushing and procrastination learn the fundamentals of mindfulness and the postures of meditation practice sitting, walking and compassion meditations experience mindful eating and techniques for mindfulness in daily life ask questions and re-connect with yourself Step off the treadmill and turn down Radion Non-Stop Thinking. Purchase your tickets now. Book early and save. You will need to bring a packed lunch, water bottle yoga mat &/or blanket, cushions for sitting on the floor and perhaps a wrap or blanket in case it gets cool. Chairs are available but need a cushion. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and shoes that are easily slipped off and on. Tea and coffee will be provided.
